The 2020 Presidential Election was possibly one of the most important of our lifetime. The significance of participation was stressed for months, both from brands and the general public.

However, the ability of some to get to the polls was harder than simply wanting to be involved, it was a matter of getting off work — which we saw as an implicit act of voter suppression.

A group of us on the Huge Brooklyn team wanted to create a campaign that advocated for Election Day to become a nationally recognized holiday and put pressure on large corporations to allow workers to take the day off without having to spend valuable sick leave. Because let’s be real, many of us were already plenty sick of everything going on since November 2016.

Oh, and Adweek thought it was interesting.
